After go-live, the client required a partner with Microsoft Business Solutions experience to verify the allocation, accuracy and completeness of the financial data which had been brought into the new Dynamics NAV system. Plus 6 were engaged to fulfill this task, and were further required to design basic financial reports which complied with Local Government statutory formats using the MS Dynamics NAV report writer, and more specifically, Account Schedules.

Plus 6 were further required to design and implement a dimension structure which would enable financial transactions relating to major capital projects undertaken by the Town to be processed, categorised and tracked within MS Dynamics NAV. Supplementary training was provided to relevant staff where necessary. Plus 6 designed further specialised project financial reports utilising MS Excel, with data exported from MS Dynamics NAV into MS Excel. The integrity of the customised MS Excel reports was ensured by reconciliation back to fixed asset control account totals within the General Ledger.
